The roof rack is designed for cars, SUVs, or crossovers with raised longitudinal rails. The gap between the rail and the car roof must be at least 1/2 inch (1.3cm), while the distance between the outer edges of the two rails must be between 38.6 inches (98cm) and 46 inches (117cm). The diameter of the rail should be within 1.4-2.1 inches (36-55mm).
The heavy-duty aluminum crossbars can support up to 165 pounds and are resistant to corrosion. Installation is easy with rubber-coated steel clamps that provide a secure grip and protect against damage. The roof crossbars also feature a built-in locking system to prevent theft.
For optimal performance, it is recommended to install rubber sealing strips into the roof racks to reduce wind noise. These sealing strips are included in the product packaging.
Please note that the crossbars are not suitable for cars with closed rails that have no gap between the rail and the car roof. This can lead to instability and potential hazards. Examples of such cars include the 2020 Benz GLC and 2020 BMW X3.
